Just in case anyone has a Delta Reservation ~ BE ADVISED!!!
Advisory: Fraudulent emails, purporting to be from Delta, have apparently been sent to consumers in the last 24 hours. These e-mails claim that the recipient has purchased a Delta ticket, that a credit card has been charged, and that an invoice or receipt is attached to the e-mail. If you have received one of these emails, DO NOT OPEN THE ATTACHMENT as it may contain potentially dangerous viruses or other malware that may harm your computer. Be assured that Delta did not send these emails, and our customers’ credit cards have not been charged as a result of the e-mails. These e-mails did not originate with Delta, nor do we believe that any personal information that our customers provided to us was used to generate these e-mails. We will continue to post updates on this page as additional information becomes available.
Delta Advisory ~ Important!!
Thanks for the heads up.
Delta Advisory ~ Important!!
Hi,
I wonder what the email header is. I had an email in my spam this morning that was supposedly from Delta %26amp; I thought HUH? and I didn%26#39;t open it %26amp; deleted it. I always empty that box 1st thing after I%26#39;m done scrolling thru everything from the nite before %26amp; I didn%26#39;t open it because I don%26#39;t have any airline reservations pending right now. So I really didn%26#39;t pay attention to the header.
Thank you for taking the time to post this alert!
thanks 4 the info!
Thanks for the heads up. I booked Delta for my trip in September and would have definately opened up the E-mail. I have my original itinerary that was E-mailed about a month ago, so I am not expecting another one. I will keep checking my charges also. Thanks again.
I posted this information on the TA airline forum, so I hope it is accurate.
