I have read alot of great reviews about this restaurant. They even pick you up in a complimentary Limo. Just wondering if all this hype is true?
Thanks in advance.
Casa Di Amore
Steve
Yes it%26#39;s true. However, Casa is getting very popular due to this forum so be sure to book reservations at least several weeks in advance if you want to be picked up by limo. Don%26#39;t expect the best Italian food you%26#39;ve every had, the restaurant is definately not fancy and the food is good but not spectacular. It%26#39;s moderately priced, and all in all a pretty good evening.
Casa Di Amore
We went last September and we found the food wonderful and loved the ';complimentary'; limo, you still tip the driver each way but what convenience... going back again in Sept and will visit again, can hardly wait....
Even if you have a car and don%26#39;t use the limo Casa Di Amore is worth a visit. Good food, large portions at a decent price. More like ';comfort food'; than gourmet.
But the decor %26amp; atmosphere make it stand out. Old-fashioned booths and plenty of photos of the old LV hotels and celebrities of that era. A crooner sings music from Sinatra %26amp; Cole Porter. A truly unique Las Vegas experiance.
If the limo is not available how much would it cost to get a taxi there from the MGM?
MGM is just about the most convenient place on the Strip for getting to CdA. Taxi should be (depending on traffic) $12-15 plus tip.
Thanks for that Blagger!
Email them and they will tell you if the complimentary limo service is available.
I had read numerous glowing reports about Casa, but unfortunately our Main was pretty poor, maybe just an off night though (starter was great).
excellent ambience though.
Thank you ALL for answering. I%26#39;m going in Sept., so i will call them in August.
We went there a couple weeks ago and loved it! The ambiance was soooo cool and a welcome change from the strip. The food was awesome and very reasonably priced.
I just wanted to add that when we booked, the limo service was unavailable on Sundays...just something to keep in mind :)
Also of note, the limo driver knew that Casa was ranked the #2 restaurant on TripAdvisor!!
I emailed them via their website, requesting a limo pick-up in the end of August. I got a call from a very nice girl, Kathleen, who said there were already several requests for that week!
Definitely give at least 3 weeks notice if you want to go on a weekend or any ';popular'; time.
Sun %26amp; Mon is 1/2 off bottles of wine, so I%26#39;m thinking they%26#39;re very busy then.
