Walk from Luxor to Ellis Island

How long would it take to walk from Luxor to Ellis Island? 30 minutes to an hour?

Thanks for your input.

Walk from Luxor to Ellis Island

Im exhausted just thinking of it, take the tram, take a cab, take anything, why would you try to walk in that kind of heat.

Walk from Luxor to Ellis Island

Too far imo. fastest walking route would be..along strip to paris..nip inside, walk through and connect with bally%26#39;s..exit at sportsbook/shops exit and turn right and over the junction..but a looong way.

Draco%26#39;s described the best route, but I concur that it will be a long walk. If you break the trip up by enjoying the hotels and casinos along the way, playing here and there and shopping through Miracle Mile, it%26#39;ll just be part of the day when you finally exit Bally%26#39;s and follow Flamingo Road for 5 minutes to Ellis Island. But if you leave Luxor on an ';Ellis Island or bust'; mission, you%26#39;ll arrive hot, harried and hungry. Not a good combination.

The walk from Bally%26#39;s to Ellis Island is not a problem, but, as mentioned above, a non-stop walk is problematic in 100 degree heat.

too long for me.... but

Options

Take monorail from MGM to Bally%26#39;s and exit near the sports book, about 2 block to Ellis Island.

Take the deuce from Luxor, just cross the street. $2.00 one way or $5 for a 24 hour ticket.

If you walk, walk thru indoor walkway to Excalibur, then walkway thru NY NY and head down the strip. If you cross the street (MGM side) you will have move casinos to visit on your walk and to get out of the heat

Depends on when you are going. I agree, the heat would be a killer. If the heat isn%26#39;t an issue, it is doable. That would be the way there, you may want to cab it back.

Cool, thanks for all the replies. If I did decide to walk, it would have been in the night time and would definitely stop by in other casinos for a quick drink on the way.
