Southpoint question for Topeka Ducky

Hi Ducky - saw your recent post about Favorite Casinos, where you mentioned that you often take a trip to SouthPoint.

I was wondering if you might know if they had completed their casino expansion there. Their website appears to indicate that the new hotel tower is progressing well, but I couldn%26#39;t find any information as to the status of the casino additions, that I understand are also taking place.

If you might have any information, it would be appreciated. I am looking forward to visiting SouthPoint for the first time in the near future, and hope to find out as much about it as possible, in advance.

I think someone asked about it the other day and it was nearing completion...if I am wondering about something like that and booking a rez, I usually call directly and asked the staff instead of booking online since I%26#39;ve always received good info from hotel employees in Vegas.

I was even told one time by the rez agent at the 4Queens that the rooms would be remodeled the following year so I%26#39;d know their plans!

Anyway even if the construction is still going on at SouthPoint, they will put you in a room facing the strip and away from the noise if you ask (and if they have a room available).
