hi there, we will be in las veags from the 7th-14th april 2009 and wondering what weather we should be expecting? will it be pool weather? thanks

First half of April is still a little unpredictable and pool weather isn%26#39;t guaranteed. There%26#39;s every chance you%26#39;ll be ok but check a forecast as you%26#39;re about to pack to get a feel for what you can expect.

With weather patterns so tricky lately it is difficult to say at this time. I would bring dress for all occasions.

We always go to Vegas mid April. The weather has always been perfect-not too hot or cool. Short sleeve shirts or tees are always fine. I%26#39;ve never worn a sweater or jacket in April.

However, weather is a fickle thing. You never can tell from year to year.

I was in Vegas in April for about 6/7 years. The temps can vary a great deal from year to year. What it is like one year has nothing to do with what it will be like the next year. The average high- mid to high 70s but the highs can range from the 60s to the 90s. There is no way of predicting what the weather will be like when you are going so you will just have to check a weather site just before leaving. Some years I was able to swim, other years I was just able to sunbathe and still other years it was so cloudy/windy/cool I could do neither. Pool weather is very iffy at the beginning/middle of April but bring your bathing suit- you can always use the Jacuzzi (although keep your warm clothes handy so you can quickly get into the hotel if it is cool).
