My friends and I really want to stay at the Mandalay Bay, but after staying at the Luxor I swore I%26#39;d never stay at the south end of the strip anymore. Does anyone know how much it costs to take a taxi along the strip (like from MB to Forum Shops)?

just took a taxi last week...
from Venetian to Mandalay Bay about 6pm was $14.00 + tip and then back around 10 pm was $12.00 + tip

Then why stay at the South End, MB is worse then the Luxor.
Why not just rent a car and split the cost, it will be very inexpensive.
FYI taxis in Vegas just doubled in price 2 weeks ago. We were just there this weekend and a cab to TI was $25 - last year I paid about $12.
