Hi, all...
I have a stay at Bally%26#39;s planned and I am looking for some information regarding the bars and restaurants on the premises. Are there any good spots for a drink? Any restaurants worth mentioning? I should preface this by saying I am looking for personal experiences. I am hoping to avoid the inevitable ';Why are you asking people here what you will like?'; response that seems to come from certain posters. I am aware that I can look on Bally%26#39;s website (and have), but I would like to know what the experts here think. If it helps, I%26#39;m a female in my early thirties and my companion will be a woman around my age. Thanks in advance.
Bars/Restaurants at Bally's
The Tequila Bar, a long time favorite spot for TA Meet %26amp; Greets is worth a visit. It%26#39;s got a fun but not too wild atmosphere and for a bar the food is perfectly acceptable.

Bally%26#39;s steskhouse is usually forgotten when it comes to recommending LV steakhouse, while is not the number one spot it is very good and I would suggest the place if your not looking to leave the Hotel.
We%26#39;ve stayed at Bally%26#39;s several times and we always found ourselves leaving the hotel to eat - either across to Caesars or Bellagio or just down the hall to Paris. In Paris we enjoyed our meal at I think it%26#39;s called Provencal or Provence - it%26#39;s right on the walkway between B %26amp; P. Delicious Mediterranean inspired food and singing waiters which sounds dorky but the few times they do stop to sing it%26#39;s very nice (songs from Phantom, etc.). We liked this place more than MAG.

Cafe St.Louis, all in the hallway between Ballys and Paris
There is a little bar near the Tequila Bar that will have a band in the evening, nice place for a drink.
Walk across the street to Shadow Bar for terrific show bartenders, then head to Cleopatra%26#39;s Barge for dancing later.
Planet Hollywood has a cool bar in the middle of the casino that was hopping later in the evening (not a club, just a casino bar). I LUV the mod vibe of PH.
Harrahs has a great bar w/ karaoke early, piano bar late, and Carnival Court outside w/ show bartenders %26amp; bands every afternoon %26amp; evening.
I am early 40s woman who loves to party, and these are some of my fav spots, and close to Ballys! (we will be there next week!--our fav hotel for best location!)
If you want to venture a bit off, VooDoo lounge at Rio (shuttle from Paris) has great views, fun vibe. You may be able to get free passes at www.riovegasnights.com.
Mandalay Bay is my FAV hotel/casino--beautiful, full of beautiful people, but not stuffy. Many great bars, for drinking, dancing or both!
Have fun!
Are there any VP machines in the Ballys Tequila bar??
I%26#39;m pretty sure that the Tequila Bar is a gaming free zone.
Ballys Steakhouse is good, nice setting dark green leather booths and great food.
My favourite Bally%26#39;s restaurant is Al Dente another that never gets a mention, great Italian never had a bad meal or bad service and the price is very reasonable.
There are a few casual eateriers on the downstairs mall level, or nosh by the south tower elevators if you just fancy a sandwiche or hot dog.
I do find Bally%26#39;s lacking in bars, Tequilla Bar and Indigo Lounge are the only places to sit and have a drink if you are not in the casino or sports book. Though you have the added benefit of walking through to Paris Hotel for more options.
There is a cafe - Sidewalk Cafe located in the casino area. In May they were open 24/7. I usually order breakfast there but they have a great oriental chicken salad too.
Toward the escalators (entrance to where the buffet was locate) there is a place to grab sandwiches, bagels, cookies, coffee, etc.
On the lower level of Bally%26#39;s, there are some fast food type places. Sbarro (pizza, pasta), Johnny%26#39;s Deli (they have breakfast too), Japanese food, Ice Cream, etc.
Have a great trip.
The nice thing about Bally%26#39;s is the location so if you can%26#39;t find something you like at Bally%26#39;s/Paris then you can find something within about a 15 minute walk.
Thank you so much for the help! I%26#39;m happy to have the advice.
