Which poker tournaments do you like playing in?
Poker tournaments come in all shapes and sizes. With such a variety, you should be able to choose tournaments that best fit your play. Allvegaspoker.com is an excellent resource for this.
Personally, I choose tournaments that have a small buy-in (under $100), no rebuys or add-ons, return a respectable percentage of the entry fees as prizes (75% or more), and have a payout structure that is appropriate to the number of players. Mandalay Bay has a nice tournament along these lines at 6 PM on Thursdays with an $80 buy-in and an 88% return.
