My 7 stars status with Harrahs ends in a few months and it looks like I%26#39;ll be going back to Diamond. My question is do you still get offers for shopping spree%26#39;s and free tournament entries and the like?

i have been diamond approx 6 years and never received a shopping spree. i do get rooms, promotions, and tournaments however.

Were only platinum and get offers for free rooms, tournaments and special freebies.

I am only Diamond and have never paid for a room in Vegas. We go twice a year for 5 nights. We are offered Augustus Tower at Caesars or our choice of other HET properties.

We receive offers for tournaments and cash back for travel expenses.

Harrahs is making it harder to achieve Diamond status now. That may be a mistake IMHO. We also receive free room offers from the MGM chain and the Venetian. I don%26#39;t chase comps but will play where I receive the most benefit. Comped food and rooms give me more to gamble with.

We%26#39;ll see what direction Vegas/HET will go in these harder economic times.

Your right Ashe about the comps at other casinos.

We stayed at Venetian last year for two nights at a special rate. We gambled but not like we do at paris/ballys etc. This year Venetian comped us 2-4 nights at palazzo or the Venetian. We took 2 free nights at Palazzo and 3 nights at paris comped. The Venetian is giving out some good comps for not much gambling. Harrahs hopefully will take notice.
