We already booked 3 nights at the bally%26#39;s North Tour for 70$/night. I read a lot of reviews and i am not sure of my choice.
We are planning to stay 3 nights in Vegas (2nd visit) We will rent a car for the entire stay. What hotel do you suggest? I found the Palm%26#39;s at 336$ and the Bally%26#39;s at 228$ (3 nights). As it%26#39;s the end of our trip, we have limited budget (the first 10 days in California...) This part of the trip is for my DH... He will pass an entire day to play and 1 day in the Valley of Fire and Hoover Dam.
Should we go out of the strip (Henderson or ???)

Strip - Off strip ???The Palms is of course the newer hotel but Bally%26#39;s is on center strip and you do have a car so its a toss up. Bally%26#39;s will have more to offer because of convenience, walk out your door, whereas the Palms you need to take the car to the strip.
Strip - Off strip ???Me, myself %26amp; I love staying on the strip. It%26#39;s so lovely with all the different casinos %26amp; lites %26amp; places to eat. I%26#39;ve been over 50 times, %26amp; I love being on the strip itself. It%26#39;s just spectacular to see all the astounding buildings %26amp; the lites at night. You didn%26#39;t mention when you are going. You might want to go to Harrah%26#39; website to see if they have any Hot Deals for the time that you%26#39;ll be there.
Is it a weekend??. Also check back occasionally to see if the rooms go down, if they do, just call them %26amp; let them know where you saw the lower rate %26amp; they%26#39;ll match the rate that you saw, which is also nice about them. click on top for LV, then on the hotel %26amp; then Hot Deals or Stay %26amp; Play Packages to see if you can get a better deal than the one that you have.
Personally I would stick with Bally%26#39;s over the Palm. Palm is out %26amp; is a boring type place to stay.
I prefer to stay off the strip but, that is because I don%26#39;t like the big crowds.
For a first time visit, I always urge the Strip. But you are second visit and you will have a car. So I would consider off-Strip or downtown.
Have you visited Downtown yet? If not, maybe stay at Golden Nugget -- at least, check the prices there and decide.
Off-Strip, you might want to consider South Point, Orleans, Sam%26#39;s Town, Green Valley, ...
South Point and Golden Nugget would probably be my first two choices.
