Las Vegas NYE

I am going to be in London in NYE and am thnking of jetting to Vegas for 2 weeks.

Was thinking of going to NY first and the catch a plane and back to Vegas.

What is the cheapest way to get to Las Vegas from London? I don%26#39;t mind using more than one plane and changing flights. But the prices offered are really heavy at the moment.

Also, is the nightlife really that classic in Vegas for NYE? Any good names playing?

And also, which is the cheapest %26#39;big and nice%26#39; hotel in Las Vegas for those days?
