Bakery for BD Cake

Hi. We are having a BD party for my dad and want to order a cake from a nearby bakery (we are renting a house). The house is on Tall Timber Street; zip code is 89183.

I contacted Freeds Bakery to custom design my sister%26#39;s 30th bday cake. I was specifically asking for a madi gras style, by pure coincidence, they had been thinking about one as well.....

Well to make a long story short.... This is the outcome a beautiful decorated cake just for her!!

It made her birhtday unique and the cake was almost too pretty to cut into, but we did and ohhhhh soooo DELICIOUS!!!!

Everyone should try their cake at least once! and they cupcakes as well......

I agree Freeds is the best!

Many of the hotels (do not tell other, okay) use Freeds. Great bakery. But the ones on your list Abertson%26#39;s has a bakery. They have pre-made or call a day before.

Freed%26#39;s is absolutely great- but it is not inexpensive. It is not in the same price category as supermarket bakeries.

It is several miles north of where you are staying, but I would recommend Goldilock%26#39;s Bakery. They can design a wonderful work of art for you.

Goldilocks is at 2797 S Maryland Pkwy. You would take Eastern north to Desert Inn, Desert Inn west to Maryland Pkwy, and Maryland Pkwy north. Goldilocks will be on the left side. If you reach Sahara, you have gone too far.

Of the grocery stores you have listed, excluding Fresh and Easy, I would GUESS that Albertson%26#39;s would be the best. It is highest ';class'; chain of the three. Food For Less is a low price, but low class, chain -- bag your own groceries, less upkeep, less cleaning of the aisles, ...
