Great question. That does sound like a pop-up blocker, and we do have pop-ups on the site. Unfortunately it%26#39;s not a free trip. That said, you might catch some great deals if you change your settings to allow pop-ups from TripAdvisor.

Thanks for the help. I am guessing it is a blocker. I just don%26#39;t know why TA is the only place it appears. So now I%26#39;ll take a few drinks, go to my settings and tech away.

The yellow %26#39;thing%26#39; with the red edge? I%26#39;ve seen it, too. Don%26#39;t know what it is.

It is the Google popup blocker. Whenever the star appears a popup is being blocked and (if displayed) the running total of blocked popups on your Google toolbar will increase by one.
