Ideas for lunch on the go

My hubby and I are not really in to big sit-down lunches. We tend to eat a large breakfast, something smallish for lunch/snack and then a big evening meal. Normally in cities, we would have food from street vendors for lunch. What places should we be hitting if we want a cheapish lunch on the go? We are staying in the Mirage but will be up and down the strip, so location isn%26#39;t important. TIA!

I%26#39;ve found that many of the 24 hour cafe%26#39;s will let you take out.... There are also food courts at all the resorts.

Ideas for lunch on the go

There%26#39;s a lot of Sandwich places and such, like Wichcraft at MGM, Earl of Sandwich at Planet Hollywood (supposed to have great sandwiches.) The Caesars food court has pizza, sandwich wraps, soups, etc and is pretty affordable. Another place I like to grab a quick bite at is Jean Phillipes at Bellagio.

Ooh Earl of Sandwich, yummy. Eaten there in Orlando and loved it. Will have to hit there at least once.

Ps Really enjoyed your TR from Orlando Jack%26amp;Sally!

Ceasars has a really good food court, we are the same about lunch. Most casinos have a couple of places to grab a quick bite. You won%26#39;t have any problem.

Cheers,

Ncmc, thanks:)funny how many Orlando forum readers frequent the Vegas forum as well....yeah I%26#39;m gonna try Earl of Eandwich based on recommendations from other Orlando visitors, don%26#39;t hear much about it over in this forum because of the large number of great dining options on the strip.

For a quick grab %26#39;n go lunch, the wife and I have had good sandwiches at Bella Pannini in the foodcourt area of the Venetian and at Nathan%26#39;s Famous Hot Dogs in the food court area of several casinos including NYNY. You can get 2-4-1 coupons to both places by going to this web site to save a few bucks....

PS. Nathan%26#39;s has more than hot dogs and the 2-4-1 coupon is good for any sandwich. Grilled chicken sandwich pretty good.

I always make a stop at the Earl of Sandwich in Planet Hollywood, if I have a big breakfast I want something lighter for lunch as well.

Thanks for all the hints. Will definitely be checking out the 2-4-1 voucher on the hotdogs, I hate them, but hubby would be well up to the challenge of eating 2!

Hi ncmc, you should get the American Casino guide begore you go,,there are great coupons in it, I bought it 2 weeks ago and not going till nov...when are you going? did you get a good deal?

Food court in the Fashion Show Mall has plenty of lunch options as well.

For something a bit special definitely try Wichcraft in the MGM. Don%26#39;t expect it to be that cheap though.
