Super-Glue on the A/C at Harrahs?sounds like my mom's house.

some reviews i have read have stated that you are not able to adjust the a/c in the rooms at harrahs? i find this so hard to believe but would really like to know if there is any truth to it before i go in a couple weeks. it sounds ridiculous but i seen it from a handful of reviews!? if i call there to ask i doubt they will tell me the truth. if you know it to be true, does the same go for ballys? might try to switch to them.

';a handful of reviews';

You%26#39;re always going to get a few unhappy guests at any hotel especially at properties the size of those in Vegas where thousands of people are staying at any given time. Take online reviews with a pinch of salt.

This is the first time I%26#39;ve heard of this. If it was a serious issue then I%26#39;m sure it would have appeared on this forum before now. I wouldn%26#39;t worry about it.

I stayed at Harrah%26#39;s recently and don%26#39;t recall any trouble with changing the temperature. Then again, there are a lot of things I don%26#39;t recall with perfect clarity from that trip.

Stayed there in June and had no problems adjusting the a/c.

Sometimes, I guess, the people who complain about not being able to, maybe have no clue how to work the controls but don%26#39;t want to admit that.

At one point I had it down to 62 (right after checking in) to cool the room down quickly and then kept it at 68 the rest of my stay.

I stayed in June and could adjust the a/c. One thing that they have is a sensor on the a/c. If you leave the room the a/c will not come on and keep an empty room at a cool temp. As soon as you ope the door the a/c kicks on and in no time it is cooled off.

I found the adjustments a bit confusing until I took 10 seconds to read what switch adjusted what.

Just got back last night from staying at Harrah%26#39;s. As the above poster said, they have a sensor that keeps the room at 76 or 77 while you are out, and within a minute of getting into the room, it cools to whatever temp you set it at. The controls were pretty easy too. Click cooler to lower the temp, and click warmer to raise it.
