TR- July 22-25th

Hey guy this was my first trip to Las Vegas it was awesome!! We are ready to go back... lol

Day 1

Skipping all the flight stuff nothing to exciting with that... anyways we took the shuttle bus to our hotel the Monte Carlo. We made a few stops so they could drop other people which seemed to take forever but it was a nice tour.

We checked into the hotel a bit early which was ok they had rooms but they told us to wait 20 minutes which was fine we went and ate pizza in the food court and visited the gift shop. We finished all that went up to the room asked the people who were up there cleaning if it was ready this was like atleast 35 mins later. We open the door and the bed isn%26#39;t made and they had dirty sheets on the floor so we call and then we realized the sink was messed up also. We had a nice strip view room and we didnt want to lose the view. Thankfully we switched rooms and we still had a strip view we were looking at the MGM Grand.

After all that mess we ventured off in our hotel for a little bit and check out stuff. Then we went to the Coca Cola Store and M%26amp;M store both of them were so neat. After that we headed towards New York New York and I enjoyed that a lot.We played some slots and walked around took some pics. Also I forgot we visited the MGM Grand we went there several times to catch the monorail.. we saw the Lion Habitat and watched playing. Then we decided to go towards Planet Hollywood and Paris. I loved Planet Hollywoods casnio very nice place. We went up in the Eiffel Tower the view is awesome and it felt great up there.

All in all the 1st day was amazing and we were exhausted so we decided to eat dinner at the hotel so we made reseverations at Brand%26#39;s Steakhouse it was excellent. They serve some tasty bread before your meal... we loved it. I spent about $67 on myself I had Filet Mignon, Groton Potatoes and an alcoholic beverage. The service was great. I would definitely eat there again.

TR- July 22-25th

After that we went and placed more slots didn%26#39;t have much luck but it was my first time gambling so I didn%26#39;t expect much. Then we went to bed to rest up for another long day!!!

Day 2

We ate McDonalds for breakfast none of us were big breakfast people so we ate cheap. We walked over to the MGM hopped on the monorail thankfully our day passes were still good. We got off at the flamingo hotel went through there and looked around then left to go to Caesars Palace spent a lot of time in there. Went shopping and ate at the Planet Hollywood in the Forum Shops. Service was ok but the food was pretty good. I hadn%26#39;t eaten in the one of those in alongtime. Then off to the Bellagio we shopped and then went outside to wait for the fountains to go off that was really neat. Then we went back to the hotel and ate dinner at Diablo%26#39;s Cantina we were going to eat at the Luxor since we planned to go to LAX but we passed by Diablo%26#39;s and liked their menu. The food was good but service was a bit slow. We went back to the room and got ready and then caught the bus to the Luxor.

When we walked into the Luxor we were given free passes to LAX which was awesome. We went inside the Luxor gambled a bit waited until the club opened. Finally after I don%26#39;t even know how long we got in and the place is nice but small for the amount of people who were in there. We drank, danced, left and walked back to the hotel. Went in the excalibur and then went back to the hotel.

Day 3

We got on the monorail @ MGM again and went towards Harrahs spent time there and went to the Venitian Afterwards. We went to the wax museum which was a lot of fun but spooky because they looked so real. We walked around the shops and then headed back on the monorail and looked for a place to eat and we decided to eat lunch at Wolf Gang Pucks Bar and Grill which was veryyyyyyy good. After that we went towards excalibur to catch the tram to go to Mandalay Bay we spent a lot of time in there and went to the House of Blues for some souvineers.

After all that we went back to the hotel to rest then after awhile we decided to go to the Hard Rock Hotel %26amp; Cafe which now it says they are going to be building something on the strip. There seems to be a lot of construction going on. We ate @ the Hard Rock and had some great drinks that came with a souvineer glass for $12.99. The service was great they were very friendly and the food was great also.

Day 4

It was time to leave...took one more look @ our nice view of the strip as I packed my bags. Then we checked out and grabbed a cab and we spent about 13 bucks on the cab which wasn%26#39;t bad we were worried about that while watching the meter go up fast.

During our trip though we found a lot of coupons and at the monorail station they had a small book of coupons. We found several for Planet Hollywood, The Wax Museum, House of Blues and several resturaunts.

I really thought we were gonna hear a lot of the noise coming from the city center construction but it wasn%26#39;t bad we couldn%26#39;t really hear it. The City Center is huge and will be nice when it is done. Also the volcano @ the Mirage is under construction they have a sign saying that it will be reopen later this year.

The weather wasn%26#39;t 2 bad it was hot of course but thankfully it didn%26#39;t rain!!!

Sounds like you did a lot and had a lot of fun on your first trip.

Ohh I forgot to mention the people who pass out the nudey cards asked my friend if she wanted a job we laughed so hard and kept walking. Those people were really annoying.

Also during the trip I had to pick me up some of Ethel%26#39;s chocolate%26#39;s since we don%26#39;t have them in Houston I first tried them in Chicago and love them.

Thanks for the TR, neighbor! I stayed at Monte Carlo last July when they were remodeling the casino. I haven%26#39;t been back to MC to see what the new casino looks like.......
