terrace suite remolded early at MGM?

Staying in the terrace suites for the last few nights of our October vacation...I have heard rumors that they might start their remodel of these suites early ( was supposed to start in November). I know they are in quite need of a overhaul. Anyone else hear that they started already?

I have never stayed in the terrace but from what I have read it is wayyyyyyyyyyy past due for remodel time! Its pricey and its a special occasion so I was hoping the rumors were true. Of course the real star is the view but it would be nice if the room itself wasnt in poor shape.

Since you%26#39;re pretty sure they will NOT be remodeled by the time you go, and it is a special occasion, why not stay somewhere else this trip then maybe stay in a terrace suite next year when they%26#39;re all shiny and new?

If they do start them early (in Oct) you might also be disturbed by the construction noise.

Warmwinds! Hi! You know at first I was excited when I heard they might update them early but I didnt even take time to think that it might mean lots of noise on those floors! yikes..... We are staying in the 2 bedroom skylofts as well for part of the stay...the terrace would just be ';new'; and the patio looked divine enough to suck me in. I will have to call and ask a few questions it sounds like. The reason I am trying to make this extra special is we are celebrating both our birthdays and with a heavy work load this upcoming year I am not certain when we will be able to escape again..we are opening a new buis. Trying to make this trip ultra memorable!

iF A SUITE IS PERFECTLY maintained, it is pointless to obsess over whether is is remodeled or not.

If it was built to a high standard and kept as new, why the fixation over the remodeled title??

If its that special of an occassion, why don%26#39;t you exend your stay in the skylofts? You deserve it, don%26#39;t you? :-D

Chow..... the fact is from what I have read is that it not that well maintained... Old styled is fine....shappy chic...fine but when I Hear the chair backs are loose and there is a musty smell than at a grand a night I think most would expect a bit more is all. If it were not for the terrace with a view, I would pass.

The two bedroom skyloft is for the first 2 night in mid week while we have visitors....for the weekend it skyrockets in price so I am passing for the glamour suite for 4 nights and then ending on the terrace for the final two. A bit more moving than ideal but at least same hotel.

Vermont, they were remodeling the 28th floor on June 23rd, (and working there way down) so maybe you%26#39;ll get lucky and they have a higher Terrace Suite remodeled by the time you get there!
