The Orleans

Will be ther in August, lots of good reviews on TA anyone else with Orleans expierience..

The Orleans

Stayed at The Orleans probably 6 times. Never had a bad room. If you don%26#39;t mind staying a little bit off strip, it%26#39;s a good hotel with lots of food options. I don%26#39;t think the gambling is as good as it used to be but The Orleans is a bargain compared to a lot of others.

The Orleans

Depends on how much you are paying.

Should be less than $50 Sun-Thurs and less than $70 Sat-Sun. Compare rates with Golden Nugget and if GN is the same price, it is a better value. Orleans is good, clean. basic casino/hotel and rooms are larger than most. GREAT A/C system (large window units).

I stayed there once, had a very clean room, nice stay. I lost in the casino, but we did eat at the buffet (we did like it), which was priced fairly.

P.S. You must eat at least one meal at the Prime Rib Loft.

Some of the best prime rib in town at very reasonable prices. Whatever your prime rib dinner costs, double it and that%26#39;s what you%26#39;d pay for the same quality beef at a Strip hotel restaurnt.

It%26#39;s not Lawry%26#39;s quality but it also won%26#39;t cost you a hundy for two people either.

We will also be at the Orleans in August- it will be our 6th time staying there, as we go for bowling tourney%26#39;s. I actually prefer to stay there as opposed to strip hotels. Decent rooms, good restaurants (yes Prime Rib Loft is wonderful). The pool is nice with some shade, and lots to do around there. They do need more tables, and need looser slots, but then again what casino doesn%26#39;t! :)

I did get the room for this trip for 44.00 a night on a deal from tripres.com but we usually get pretty good deals either from our bowling league or through Orleans offers. Cab rides to the strip (don%26#39;t care for the shuttle) run about 10 bucks with tip and it is an easy reach to the freeway to come in and go home- not alot of traffic. Have a wonderful trip, cause I am planning on doing the same!!

It is a very nice basic off strip hotel. It has always been clean with a friendly staff. There are lots of restauant choices. Their shuttle to the strip runs from 9:30 until about midnight. I never had a problem there.

We stayed at the Orleans in Feb and loved it! Lovely large clean rooms, friendly staff, good restaurants, etc. We even won a little at the slots.

Can%26#39;t beat the Orleans! Stayed there 4 times and will do so again in November. Great prices, clean rooms, reasonable restaurants, lots of penny slots, free shuttle to the strip. Our favorite hotels are now the Orleans and the Gold Coast - for the same reasons.

Im probably in the minority here as i didnt care for it. We did not stay there but had always wanted to go there to gamble and check it out. We finally made it out there this past May. I didnt think it was very clean in the casino and bar areas. I also didnt win and hadnt won the whole trip so that kind of influences me. There were also lots of ';working girls'; working the casino and the bar areas it seemed. We did find a bar near the back that had a big stage and there was a good band there. Probably wont make a special trip out there again. It also seemed farther away than what it looked.

Im probably in the minority here.

No your not, the place is not all that, plus there are working girls around and many locals frequent this hotel, while its a palace to some, its a very basic off strip low cost Hotel to others. .
