Quick Q re Casa Di Amore - Limo tipping

Hi

Hubby and I have booked for Casa Di Amore at the end of August. We are really looking forward to it.

The limo is picking us up, and I was wondering how much we should tip the driver. We were thinking maybe $10-15 each way. Is this enough, too much etc?

Many thanks for your help

I think its a decent tip.

Thanks for your quick reply DiceMan

We tipped $5 on the way there, and $10 on the way back. (after many cocktails)

I usually tip the driver $10 each way. You will find them friendly and often willing to have a conversation. If I ask to be dropped off at a different location I will increase the tip coming back to $20.

It%26#39;s a *free limo ride* -- so why not give the Johnny a decent tip. I recommend $20 each way.

What do you tip when you pay for the limo ride?

$10 to $15 is about right. We rode with him (Micheal) in late March, and that%26#39;s in the range of what we tipped him.

When I pay for a limo ride, I tip 20%, more if I%26#39;m in a good mood and the driver is exceptional. That usually is about $15. But my point was, since you are not having to pay for something, you can afford to be a little more generous to the service provider who really depends on gratuities.

Same philosophy applies to tipping cocktail waitresses more than $1 per drink. Be more generous, do something nice for someone, and you still come out ahead.

Yesirree, good karma. We tipped the Casa driver $20 on the way home, but we really should have done the $10 each way just in case it was a different guy (it wasn%26#39;t).
