Stay at Bills?

I like Bills location but read alot about the casino being small, which dosent bother me but alot of people say it is very smokey. None of us going smoke and dont like it to much. My question is if it is overwhelming?

Stay at Bills?

By the standards of the larger and newer Strip casinos I%26#39;d say that yes, it is smokey. Whether or not it%26#39;s ';overwhelming'; is really down to an individual%26#39;s own tolerance.

No reason why you can%26#39;t stay there and gamble elsewhere. You can leave the building by the doors close to the elevators without even entering the casino and be inside Bally%26#39;s within 60 seconds.

Stay at Bills?

I%26#39;ve stayed at Bill%26#39;s twice since I quit smoking 2 years ago after 37 years and I can%26#39;t say it bothered me so it must not have been too bad. Bill%26#39;s is small but it%26#39;s a great place to stay.

Yeah that sounds good, I think we would be ok none of us are anti smoking and im sure most people who say that it is horrible are the people who dont need to go to vegas anyway... thanks for the reply

You can easily go to the casinos next to Bills. No need to withstand the smoke of Bills, even if you%26#39;re staying there.

I have stayed at Bill%26#39;s and it has more going for it than just the location. The rooms are very clean and the staff is friendly and efficient. I haven%26#39;t found the rooms to be smokey.It is a basic but nice hotel. The casino itself is small so it might seem smokier than some other big casinos but it has never bothered me- and I am a non-smoker. As another poster has said- you don%26#39;t have to stay in the casino if you don%26#39;t want to. You can quickly get from your room to the strip. The fun part of being in Vegas is going to all the other attractions, shows, restaurants and gambling at other casinos.

Stay at Platinum a block away for NS.

The problem with cheaper hotels is that a lower-class clientele means a higher % are smokers. Bills is small, so you can get out of the casino fast, so it might work out for you. Older casinos also have less effective ventilation.

my brother and I recently met in Vegas and we stayed at Bill%26#39;s for 3 nights. We are both bothered by cigarette smoke, and we didn%26#39;t have any problems. The casino is small, but it%26#39;s doable. We played there and at many other casinos. So, go and don%26#39;t worry...if you like a small, clean, friendly hotel, then Bill%26#39;s is for you. The other hotels are beautiful, but, when I am ready to return to the room, I don%26#39;t want to have to face and additional 15-30 minutes of walking to get to my room. They are just too big for my liking.

'; The problem with cheaper hotels is that a lower-class clientele means a higher % are smokers. ';

That being said - gamblers in any economic bracket are more likely to smoke. It is , after , one more form of gambling with higher than usual stakes.

This is good information - I am planning our next trip and Bill%26#39;s is on my short list. The main complaints in the hotel reviews seem to be about front desk service or lack thereof.
