If you had to choose, which one is better for two adults (clean room, pool, food)?
Whiskey Petes,
Primm,
or
Buffalo Bills?
Thanks
Primm Valley Resorts???
Primm Valley is the nicest of the 3, followed by Bills, and then Whiskey Petes.
Primm Valley is what I like to call a small Mirage....a VERY small one.
They do have some pretty inexpensive concerts there...and the rooms are comped pretty quickly.
Primm Valley Resorts???
Definitely Primm, Bills then Petes. We were there this past July and everything had gone down hill. We stayed at Bills and I had to put a towel on the chair just to sit, it was so filthy, the table didn%26#39;t look to be cleaned, I counted over 21 burns in the carpet and it was a NO smoking room.
I thought the mini-suites at Buffalo Bills was the nicest room I have seen there. Primm Valley rooms are okay but worn.
Hi
I have to agree the hotels in Primm have gone down hill. The first time I stayed was at Whiskey Petes and it was quite OK. Then a year later went to Primm and it was not as good as Whiskey Petes, so the following year, this year went back to WP and it was awfull. I think by choice I would go back to Primm and forget the other two.
Although the pool is nice at WP, the one at Primm looks a bit tatty with tiles all falling off.
The food is bad at all of them.

Appreciate all of your input. We%26#39;re getting into LV late Friday and the hotel rates there are really high. Just looking for a clean room and maybe some sun on Saturday at the pool. We don%26#39;t mind the drive to LV from Primm, in fact we%26#39;ll be eating our meals in LV. Sunday we%26#39;ll be at the MGM for the rest of our stay. Any other comments/ideas for the weekend would be appreciated.
you will also find low limits....and great drink service if you tip well......sign up for a players card, and if you play there at all.....plan on getting free rooms, and concert offers.
I agree that all three are going downhill and dare I say it..dumpy.
We stayed at Buffalo Bills last November for one night for the same reason you did. There was a convention in LV and room rates were sky high. It wasn%26#39;t worth it and there isn%26#39;t much to do entertainment wise. I was in bed by 10 pm. Was so glad I spent the extra money for a room in LV.The bathrooms were dirty, the carpet was stained with the expected cig burns. We did have a view of the pool but I wouldn%26#39;t even call it that. You mentioned getting some sun on Saturday so I wouldn%26#39;t recommend this pool. It really is falling apart. Also, they were closed the first week of November so I would call to confirm the pool are will be open. Just make sure you remember to close your curtains at night. The way the hotel is set up pool view rooms can see RIGHT into all the other rooms. Also, I would skip the buffet. It was inexpensive but tasted just how I expected for the price.
Spike is right in the drink service and comps. If that is what you are looking for sit at Keno. The CW was back before I had even finished my previous drink and I had earned enough points for a free hot dog and beer in five minutes! LOL
But really, if at all possible I would try to find something in Vegas. It might not seem like a big deal now but I think you will really dread leaving the strip to return to Primm.
I have stayed at BB three times, a week each time. The rooms were nice enough, at $19 a night. My Husband doesn%26#39;t gamble, so he walks around the mall, catches a movie or sits outside to read. The pace is slow out there and it is quiet. The buffet at Bills is good, but at Primm FORGET IT!! All three have a prime rib special that was very good at each. I hated Petes, smokey and smelly, but had a real good meal at the steakhouse there. We would drive to the strip on one day, downtown on another. That was enough for me. The last few years we have stayed on the strip and have seen all we need to see. I hate crowds and waiting in long lines so that could be why I like the Primm resorts, I like Reno as well. It%26#39;s all a matter of what you are looking for, I like to spend my money in the casino, not on my room.
I thought about doing that as well. Staying at the mGM Sun-Friday for $69.00 and being too cheap to pay $300.00 for Sat night, (don%26#39;t worry they will get enough out o f us:) when we don%26#39;t even get in until almost midnight. Ended up booking Palace Station for 109.00. It seemed worth it not to have to drive to Primm for $50.00.
Reviews of Palace Station were spotty, but it%26#39;s only for one night.
Mags
Thanks everybody for your input--------
