hello to ta/vegas junkies,

what helps you ease the pre - vegas anxitey

53 day%26#39;s till take off.

the dw and i will be in lv in sept 8-11,just us 2 no grown up kids,this time,although my son suggested we have our daughter s 21st b/day in lv.. hope so..

we usally go to EI for our first meal but we will arrive @ 8am this time so i dont think EI will be our first Vegas meal..***any breakfest or lunch suggestions welcome, will probly do EI anyway wouldnt want to break a now family tradition..

i can never wait till next time..

although i could be on a river boat casino (nowhere near the same) in less than 2 hours, just to ease the pain a little till vegas ( the real thing ) im trying to hang on.

i had a dream i was palying bj in lv and realized that i didnt practice basic stratagy before playing, (nightmare)i woke up..tkank GOD it was only a dream..wish i could count cards..lol

gonna start playing hit or stand on a daily basis,just so i can sit at the bj table longer and win some $$$

also starting a Tip Fund , iv%26#39;e ask my family to please donate to this wonderful cause..lol

also iv been getting anxious about craps,the lights of the strip, and our traditional trip DT, and everything VEGAS..cant wait

so far i have the plane %26amp; rental car coverd

the orleans sent us a great offer for a room 29$ sun - thur , we have played at orleans but never stayed, any commits appreciated ***

we like to stay on the strip .. of course

obsessing about a room with a view of the fountins/strip view and trying to get the room plus some 2 for 1 and free play ...so planning the trip helps also,love the freebies,,

just bought my american casino guide,not that many great vegas deals this year...:-( imo..but fun to read all the offers..

reading tr%26#39;s help also,

i watch (tv or movies) just about anything to do with vegas , im going to watch fear and loathing in las vegas again,dont think i got it the first time,

went and seen 21 loved it.

just waiting to have another wonderful las vegas experience,

till then i will keep on planning the next perfect vegas trip.

Just got back….

But before I go, especially the week before, I get all nervous and happy at the same time.

I hope I make the plane, hope I like my room and nothing happens to prevent me from going to Vegas

I plan, plan and over plan

I Book hotels, see a better deal and re-book, change my mind, I then second guess myself up until the end.

So far each trip has been great and yours will be too

Just enjoy the planning and the anticipation which is half the fun

No way to calm down

Enjoy your trip and play slots on line and eat at local buffets for practice :)

i usually end up going to a local casino in an attempt to get some of the vegas experience, then proceed to lose a lot of money, get a sour taste in my mouth, after which i am no longer as anxious to go to vegas. this, of course, is a more painful way to lessen one%26#39;s anxiety.

OMG, I%26#39;m right there with you. We don%26#39;t go until end of Sept. and I%26#39;ve booked three different hotel rooms, cancelled two of them and changed ';view/room type'; on the third. Today, I actually was able to make dinner reservations for our trip and rented a car and that was so exciting. Who knows if we%26#39;ll actually make the dinner reservations since it is more than two months away, but hey, I%26#39;m sure having fun. Good luck with your planning.

just when i thought i was the only anal/ocd trip planner

i had about 5 hotel reservations one trip.

i really want to stay center strip this time.

just when you think you have the perfect deal here comes another one.

it can get a little crazy,

i try to stay away from the same old same old,

nd try new places each trip

my trip isn%26#39;t until Sept 5th

i am on this site everyday

Wow! Vegas is the only trip I don%26#39;t have anxiety about! I just worry that I%26#39;ll forget to go to the ATM before I get there!

This board helps get me in the spirit of going! Or takes the edge of coming home...as the case may be!

Vegas Vacation.. Chevy Chase...

Illusion, funny you should mention that. A few minutes ago I told my wife I wanted to see Vegas Vacation before we left. She told we had it but it was on VHS. The kids had given it to me for Xmas many years ago. ';Like who has a tape player nowadays.'; Well, turns we had a brand new Sony stashed away--brand new-never been opened.
