The Most Boring TR I've Ever Written 7/15-7/19

I returned from this trip and my first thought was; How can I write a trip report? What am I going to say? I really didn%26#39;t do anything exciting.

But I believe in Trip Reports. Win or lose, long trip or just a few days, I should write a report. If for no other reason than as a record for myself. But I know I%26#39;ve many things from TR%26#39;s, so it%26#39;s only fair that I write them. Maybe something I take for granted might be of help to someone else.

So here it is. The most boring TR I%26#39;ve ever written. On the bright side; it%26#39;s also the shortest one I%26#39;ve written in years, lol.

I hate any site without an EDIT function:

I%26#39;ve LEARNED many things from TR%26#39;s.

Thanks for posting your report. I%26#39;m leaving in a week by myself and although I%26#39;m not golfing there I am an avid golfer so the restaurant at Wynn overlooking the course sounds perfect for me. Will I be out of place alone?

Didn%26#39;t think your report was boring at all! To spend that time with your father is priceless. My dad has passed [he loved the horses too!] and I would give anything to spend time with him!

That was a nice trip report. Sounds like a great time with your dad.

Lionsmom: I ate at the Country Club alone and had no trouble. Service was wonderful from all the staff. They are very attentive and the food and views great. You%26#39;ll be fine there on your own.

That was a nice report and I am sure a good trip.

I took a trip with my Dad to LV about 2 years ago - he has Alzheimers and wanted to see Vegas one more time while he could still enjoy it - he had been there And Reno / Tahoe back in the 70%26#39;s through the 00%26#39;s and enjoyed it. He had a great time on that last trip and now, its only a memory for me - it was a bit boring as a lot of trips go, but maybe more memorable.

Spend time with your Dad while you can, where you can - even having a cup of coffee and talking about old times can be %26#39; quality time %26#39; and count it as a blessing if he knows who you are.

Not boring at all! I thought it was very touching! What a nice son you are!

Enjoyed reading your report very much. I like good bacon, too :)

Ktinca, great TR.

Another one here that enjoyed your report (and always enjoy the parent/child trips)!

We buried my dad the day before my 33rd birthday, and my father-in-law has Alzheimer%26#39;s so last trip with him was several years ago.

That is a trip you will remember and be glad you spent time together!

and YOU%26#39;LL be glad you spent time together...EDIT BUTTON PLEASE TA!
