Hotel Must See's

Hi, were in Vegas for 2 weeks in September and plan on visiting every hotel for at least a few hours each.

Do suppose you kind folks could post any must sees while we wander about

Hotel Must See's

bellagio have some botanical gardens

freemont street.

if you haev look on freemont street website they have different show every hour worth a night up there.

Hotel Must See's

how long are you going for?

we did 2 ngihts and got to see alot.

Hi

Must see%26#39;s of course is the fountains at Bellagio and I would suggest trying to fit in the free lounge show at Bill%26#39;s, Big Elvis.

BTW if you intend to be in each hotel for a few hour%26#39;s I think 2 weeks is not enough time!

Do go downtown as it is very different from the strip and worth the trip, this way you will experience all of Vegas, not just the strip. Go to Main st Station, see the antique%26#39;s and the rail car%26#39;s, then eat in the triple 7 brewery, very good food and drink.

When you say ';every hotel'; do you mean just Strip hotels? Downtown? Off-Strip? Gambling or just having a look around?

Even if you just stick to the Strip there%26#39;s some places that don%26#39;t require a couple of hours and others that need slightly more. Without gambling you could easily spend half a day inside Bellagio, Venetian or Caesars but (though they%26#39;re nice enough hotels) there%26#39;s not that much to see and do at the likes of Harrah%26#39;s, Bally%26#39;s or Monte Carlo. Bottom end properties such as Imperial Palace or Tropicana certainly don%26#39;t need that much time to check out.

Bellagio: Free Water Fountain Show, Botanical Conservatory, Dome glass ceiling.

Rio: Masquerade Village Parade performances

Down town: Fremont Street Experience

Mandalay Bay: Shark Reef

venetian: Grand Canal Shoppes

if you%26#39; want to see as many hotels as possible do it by area e.g. south strip area then centre strip then north strip, Downtown, Off-Strip casinos. You got plenty of time so i think you can pretty much cover most of it. WE stayed one week in January and I was able to check out most 4* hotels and up, and some 3* too. We did about 4-5 hotels a day, some days only 2-3, some 5-6, depending on the amount of walking needed and the features of the hotels. the hotels we spent most time are the Bellagio, Venetian, %26amp; Wynn.

To me the must sees would be: the Bellagio fountains (at night) and conservatory; Forum Shops at Caesars Palace-both a mall and an attraction; Venetian- ceiling and canals; Eiffel Tower-Paris; Big Elvis (free afternoon show) at Bill%26#39;s. If you like cars- Imperial Palace has a great Auto exhibit -get coupons in all the magazines for free admission. Actually- just about every hotel on the strip has an attraction- it depends on what you like to see. Here is a list:

You should also go downtown at least one night. It has a completely different atmosphere. You may love it or you may hate it but you should see it for yourself.

My bride and I have pretty much hit them all from the Sahara down to the Luxor.

Strip hotels we have not hit yet: Riveria, Monte Carlo, Mandalay Bay.

Our favorites for shopping were the Canal Shoppes in the Venetian and the Forum Shops at Caesars. Most impressive and interesting were the Bellagio and the Venetian and the Wynn was really posh and fun to walk through - nice shops too. Of course you will want to see the Bellagio fountains at least once.

Saw the lions at the MGM but it was not too impressive but the size of that MGM casino was impressive. The interior of the Luxor was pretty interesting - inside the pyramid.

I want to see the shark reef at Mandalay Bay in the future.

I would recommend at least one evening downtown to see the light show, catch some street music and wander the hotels downtown for a contrast to the strip. Go see the real gold nuggets in the Golden Nugget hotel, get a fried twinkie and a cheap shrimp cocktail or two.

The Venetian has a wax museum and also art exhibits.

The Imperial Palace automobile museum.
