hi all we are buffet virgins and we would love to try one or two out but where do you start - do you just walk up to the counter pay and get your food -(provided there is no line)

Yep, belly up to the cash register and then they give you a table. (smoking or non-smoking) order your beverage, then watch out for ';stabbing forks';!! Please tip the beverage person.

Most if not all buffets will have a hostess seat you and a server to bring drinks which are included in the buffet price, coffee, tea, soda, etc.

If you have any questions you can ask the hostess or beveage server.

They will also remove your dirty plates. Take a clean plate every time you return to the buffet to get more food.

The wife would like to try a champagne buffet - which do you rate as best and does it include as much champers as you want???

We had a champagne buffet and was dissapointed. Same old buffet just with a glass of sparkling wine, or bucks fizz. I am of not talking about the expensive one at Bally%26#39;s. Unless you really want a glass of wine I would not bother to pay the extra. If you want a buffet with free wine/beer go to the Hilton in the evening.

Just remember that champagne is not served at all times. Usually it%26#39;s only during brunch (Sat. and Sun). I might be wrong, but if they%26#39;re not serving it, I believe at most buffets you can always order it and of course you%26#39;d have to pay for it.

There is sometimes a long line for the buffets. But once you get seated just take your pick of what you want to eat- over and over and over again- as many times as you want.

Here%26#39;s a little tip for you. You can go into any buffet and ask the hostess if you can take a look around to see if you want to eat there. They%26#39;ll always say ';sure no problem';. Then just go in and look at what the buffet has to offer. If the food looks fresh and not over or under cooked, and if the other guests look like they%26#39;re enjoying themselves then go for it. If it does%26#39;nt look good then go somewhere else and eat.
