Hi all! Just back from LV. Stayed at the MGM as always. Stayed in a Bungalow King room - no complaints - lots of room. Saw Craig Ferguson at the Hollywood Theatre on Friday. Loved the show! Very funny! We watch him almost every night on the Late, Late Show... he was great in person.
DInner at Fiamma - tried the summer menu which was above average - you get to choose two appetizers, three mains and then dessert. It is served family style, on big plates to share. The braised rib was to die for!
Saturday night we saw Jersey Boys at the Palazzo. This was probably the best musical I%26#39;ve seen. The performances were outstanding! And who doesn%26#39;t know and love all the hits from Frankie Valli %26amp; the Four Seasons. Dinner pre-show was at Dos Caminos in Palazzo. Good food - but very noisy restaurant. We were seated next to a large party of people who seemed to be trying to out-do one another for ';who can talk the loudest';. Seriously, everyone at their table seemed to be ';yelling';. The icing on the cake was listening to these ';so called adults'; drop the ';F-bomb'; every two to three sentences... A bit much.. but we perservered.
Loved the Palazzo Casino = lots of different slots to try. and the machines seemed to be paying.
Also won a couple of progressives on quarter ';monte carlo riches'; at the Monte Carlo. One on Friday night and one on Sunday afternoon.
HAd some luck at the Mirage as well...
All in all, a nice weekend of sun %26amp; fun!

Sounds like you had a great trip
Trip Report 07/24-07/27Sounds like a nice trip! Thanks for sharing!
Welcome home and glad you had a good time.
Fiamma and Craftsteak are two I really need to try out.
Except for the one slow spot just before they broke into Sherry, I really liked Jersey Boys as well!
Always bring a small bag of Peanut M%26amp;Ms to dinner in Vegas. That way, if you have annoying people close by, you can ping and M or two off their heads, LOL!
Winning on Monte Carlo Riches? Seems fitting for you doesn%26#39;t it? =)
Lowrance you crack me up! I%26#39;ll definitely remember to take some M %26amp; M%26#39;s next time.
yes, the Monte Carlo Riches - that%26#39;s how I came up with my name. They were so good to me over the years - I always won on them. Then they went cold for a couple of years. But this time - they warmed up to me again... and are now back in my good books.
Loved loved loved Jersey Boys!
Now to start planning the next trip!
