South Rim bus tour

Hi All

Has anyone been on this tour with ';Look Tours'; was it worth it? On line it quotes 2 for 1 at the moment but when I go through trying to book full price is charged.

Any bus trip from Vegas to the South Rim is one LONGGGG bus ride. I would suggest renting a car instead, it will save you about 3-4 hours and you can spend as much time as you want at the GC. I ould suggest spending one night in Willimas or Flagstaff.

I agree about renting a car, but the best place to spend the night is inside the Park at one of the lodges there, or just outside the gate at Tusayan.

We drove to the south rim and back in day. it was a long drive, and an overnight stop would have been better if we%26#39;d had the time. There is no way on this earth I would have taken a coach tour though. It would have a been a longer journey, even more boring drive (GCNP is very impressive, the drive there is as dull as dish water), and we wouldn%26#39;t have seen anywhere near as much.
