I sure wish the hotels would leave a pool open in the evenings. In the summer months, I would love to be able to go down to the pool area, and either soak in a hot tub or even sit in the beautiful pool scenery, after a hard day of roaming the strip and gambling and drinking! Plus , some of us aren%26#39;t 20 and curvy and blah blah blah,! I mean you can do everything else in Vegas... I am a responsible adult, and wish I could sign some kind of waiver, about no life guard or whatever, but I would really like to be able to go down at night, and enjoy the pool!
Once, we were allowed to go down to the hot tub area only at Mirage, and boy was it nice, and another time at TI we were able to sit,poolside, but we were dressed and had no intention of getting in the water, just relaxing in that beautiful scenery, about 9 p.m. looking up at the sky watching the planes fly over with those beautiful palm trees, I don%26#39;t remember why we were allowed, but I sure enjoyed it!
Pool closing times!My wife and I snuck out to the Tropicana pool area late one night to wonder about. It%26#39;s really nice with the lights and landscaping. They had a bunch of security people out there but they didn%26#39;t bother us or even say a word. They just made enough of a presence to us so that we didn%26#39;t get naked and/or go swimming.

Ahh bridge bridge bridge, what I was trying to get at, was that I could go down with my 150 lb. body and sort of hide behind the darkness,
I was interested so came back, glad you answered. not glad what your answer is - why feel the need to hide in the dark? I%26#39;m truly sorry you feel this, it%26#39;s a shame you do. No reason to - try going to the pool during normal operating hours, be confident and proud.
I used to do that at one of the Flamingo pools at Christmastime. I would just sit in the lounger -all by myself- listening to Christmas music softly playing (they used to decorate the back of the Flamingo very nicely for Christmas) and just enjoy the stars in the sky and the peace of it all. Security would come around once in a while on bikes but nobody ever bothered me or told me to move. This was years ago.
Honestly, while I often agree with bridge if not with how it is said, I agree. More than likely the only person criticizing you will be you. I%26#39;m not exactly ripped unless you count the seat of my pants at times. There will be people of every shape, age and size down there. You MIGHT encounter idiots on occasion but you%26#39;ll never see them again, how important is there opinion.
I can%26#39;t speak for you but when i go to vegas I go there to have fun. I try not to effect anyone elses good time but I do what I want within reason to enjoy myself, not for others enjoyment.
If they don%26#39;t want to see my husky hairy butt then they can go to a stud only pool. I paid my money, heck with them and their opinions.
