We will be staying at the Paris for the first time and I noticed some recent pics posted and the pool always looks in the shade. Is this the way it is all day long? We would like to have some sun, can anyone enlighten me a little more.

Hi, bellavie! The pool at Paris is hardly shaded (with trees) at all! You will absolutely most definitely get sun! There are potted plants around the pool area, but they really don%26#39;t provide shade. The shade you are seeing in pictures is probably from the building blocking the sun, or even the Eiffel tower...here%26#39;s a picture from our room in June......hope this helps!

PLENTY of sun at Paris pool...pic probably taken later in day; you avoid shadows in pics when it is not so sunny

Paris pool is reputed to be one of the colder ones. If you like cool and brisk, Paris may provide that.

There is shade, and in th middle of summer you will be glad of it.

But there is a lot of it in the open and when the sun hits you, oh boy it will be hot.
