MGM Grand Tower rooms, tips?

We have 3 comped nights in the tower rooms. Do you have any specific tips on room locations to request? I gather none are close to the pool. Is there a particularily nice spot at the pool I should try to secure? Somewhere with shade and not too noisy?

Thank you.

I cant give you specifics on room location, but you should just ask for a view and/or away from the elevator. Just dont be scared to ask, thats why they have reservation agents at the desk!

No rooms are close to the pools, but the Grand Tower isnt nearly as far as the West Wing. Sounds like you will want to check out the Directors Pool, its adult only. But it is only open ';if needed'; after Sept, so check the calendar at http://www.mgmgrand.com

I actually don%26#39;t recommend a strip view at MGM. There really aren%26#39;t any great strip views there like there are at some of the other hotels.

Our favorite view is overlooking the airport (high floor) which also overlooks the mountains. It%26#39;s nice in the evening (or even the day) watching the planes go in and out while taking a break from the activities; and at night the lights over the valley are beautiful.

Another vote for the Director%26#39;s Pool...much quieter with a close restroom and bar...

I%26#39;d like to check out the Directors pool; the calendar says it is open. Is there a map available of the MGM Grand resort so I can see where to find it?

All of the tower rooms are great there is no elevator noise as they are in their own sort of wing but the closer to the Elevator the more people walk past. As long as I have a no smoking floor I am happya nd i try to get high room looking at the aiport
