Okay, I know this is a crazy question. But, do airports have scales where I can way my luggage before I check them in lol. I weighed it on my scales at home(regular scales) I am not sure if it compares to there scale or not. If I happen to have an item over the limit, do I have time to take it out and put it in my other suitcase or do they just charge me for it and go on?
Thanks
luggage
Not rocket science. They weigh the luggage, let you know if it%26#39;s ok. If it%26#39;s over the limit then you have the option of taking things out (holding up the check in line), or paying extra for the weight allowance overage.
luggage
Yes, when you check you bag you place on scale. Continental/ 1st bag free up to 50 lbs and 1 carry on then it is $25 if bag is over 50 lbs. Not certain about other airlines weight limits now that they charge for the first checked bag.
okay, well I am flying southwest. I think I can check two bags and carry on one? Is this correct?
Thanks
yes
mini--
you can go to southwest.com to have any questions regarding your allowable checked luggage, and carry-on pieces answered. try to relax, and have a great trip.
lol thanks I am trying to relax, but it%26#39;s only my second time on a plane and without my husband. LOL I am having some last minute, fear . THanks to you all.
We have a huge, hard sided old fashioned Samsonite suitcase which we cram in with everything, and we have NEVER gone over the 50 lb. limit. 50 lbs. is really a lot. I can%26#39;t imagine what you%26#39;d bring that would weigh so much.
