I am looking to find out what hotels / casinos have lounges with live music. I don%26#39;t want to pay an exhorbitant cover charge, just somewhere in or just off the casino floor to take a break, have a drink and maybe a dance or too. In AC all the casinos have these types of lounges, any in Vegas?
Hotel lounges with music
Ballys has my favorite.
Hotel lounges with music
You will find these in most casinos, sometimes several within larger casinos. The music will vary from location to location.
Over the years we have found good ones at Mirage %26amp; Mandalay Bay, but since bands vary, who knows now! Cleopatras Barge in Caesars is always a fav for good dancing.
Safety first!
Personally I cannot waste any of my precious vacation time walking that far! I don%26#39;t mind walking long stretches on the strip...there is always a casino to pop my head into, cool off, get a beverage and donate a bit!
OK...that was weird...reply right above this one was supposed to be a response to the person who wanted to walk from the strip to DT...
HOW did it post hear??!!
Almost all of the hotels have them. You can just stop in at one and if you don%26#39;t like it-move to the next casino. I like Carnaval Court and the Duelling Piano at Harrah%26#39;s. Both are fun and lively places.
Pretty much all the hotels in LV will have a lounge with live music at some point during the week. Lounges that have live music AND dancing will be a little more limited.
My favourite live music lounges have always been the Bar at Times Square @ NYNY with its dueling pianos and the Fontana Lounge at the Bellagio.
The Fontana has live bands pretty much every night and great patio that overlooks the fountains. A pretty unique experience.
The Bar at Times Square usually has a $10 cover and get very busy but if you get the right crowd in their is great fun.
You might also want to look into Carnaval Court @ Harrahs, Napoleon%26#39;s @ Paris, Big Elvis @ Bill%26#39;s and Margaritaville @ Flamingo. Not all of these are strictly %26#39;lounges%26#39; but they have low or no cover charge and make a welcome rest-bite from the tables.
While we haven%26#39;t been to many of the bars %26amp; lounges I can say that we had a great time at La Scena in the Venetian. There was a cover band playing a very wide variety of rock...comfy chairs...great service...some folks dancing...and no cover to get in.
I second La Scena. Variety of 80s/90s music and it sorta reminded me of AC lounges. Palazzo had a cover band/lounge too but wasn%26#39;t as good.
