Hi
I am coming to Vegas next Saturday for 10 days, can%26#39;t wait and it%26#39;s my first time!!!
Is it better to book trips to Grand Canyon and the shows before we come? If so what website is the best to book from?
Any advice on what else we should do would be appreciated!
Staying at the MGM for a 5 days and Mirage for 5 days!
Thanks
Booking tripsIf you%26#39;re dead set on seeing a particular show, you should book it before you go. We already booked O and Jerry Seinfeld for our August trip. We got our tickets from ticketmaster. Also, make dinner reservations before you get there.
Booking tripsSandflea is right if you really want to see a show book it ahead of time. I already have my shows for Nov booked. ';O';, Criss Angel, Tom Jones (book directly with the hotel box office). Also going to spend 1/2 of my trip at Mirage so will be interested in your report when you return. Have a great trip!

For the more popular shows-Love, Elton John, etc. you should book as soon as possible since they do frquently see out in advance. Ticketmaster is having a sale -35% off- for Mystere, Ka and Zumainity right now.

You should also check these sites before buying tickets:

www.travelzoo.com
www.goldstar.com
www.broadwaybox.com
If you can%26#39;t find any discounted tickets then buy from the hotel%26#39;s website or call for the best seats.
If you are not that fussy and are willing to take a chance on a less popular show: they do have 1/2 price kiosks that sell tickets (not always 1/2 price) for that day%26#39;s performance. The shows may vary from day to day.

If you are open then just wait til you get there, there are two last minute ticket booths on the strip to get unsold tickets for that day at huge discounts. Must be open minded to what is available though.
